Hi BSA, yes i did, a thousand of times, in fact i was running out of ideas so i installed sp3 due to my xp had sp2 and i thought that maybe that was why your solution didnt work for me, but its actually the same result, its like the realtek hd doesnt exist.

Hi, i been trying many method but the no sound device problem just come back like randomly sometime i turn off the comp and turn it back on and the audio found but now it gone and it doesn’t come back again even it come back i use it for like 20 min and the no sound after that.

To check the status of the audio driver on your system, spp3 the Device Manager again and click on the heading ‘Sound Video and Game controllers. Jus the Hex Change alone will solve my problem huh???

After trying for two days i finally have my audio up. I was caught in a loop trying to install the HDA audio bus driver that would fail because I was at SP3, then install the soundmax driver which would fail because no HDA driver was found! In vista i get all the features working cool.
